BLUEBERRY LAVENDER GIN & TONIC
How To Make Our Blue Berry Lavender Gin & Tonic
This vibrant cocktail is refreshing, slightly sweet, with delicious notes of blueberry and a hint of lavender! The secret sauce? Our Blueberry Lavender Jam as a simple syrup! Try this variation on the classic G&T at your next gathering.
- 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) butterfly pea flower gin
- 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice
- Lemon zest & sugar rimmer
- Garnish with lemon wedge
- 1-2 tbsp of Blueberry Lavender Jam (choose volume depending on your preferred sweetness. The more jam, the sweeter it gets!)
DIRECTIONS
-
To make the sugar rim, add sugar and lemon zest to a plate. Wet the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge, and press the rim into the zesty sugar.
-
To prepare the Blueberry Lavender Jam, melt it to a liquified state using the microwave (try 10 seconds at a time so as not to burn it), or using a double boiler.
-
Add 2 ounces of gin, 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice, and 1-2 tablespoons of liquified Blueberry Lavender Jam to a shaker and shake vigorously.
-
Add Ice to a rocks or highball glass, strain the shaker into the glass, and top with tonic (or soda for a less sweet option).
-
Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy!
Cheers!
