CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
The Best Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe!
This Cream Cheese Frosting recipe is so good it will have everyone fighting over who gets to lick the spoon! With the consistency of butter cream icing, it is the perfect topper to use on our Carrot Cake.

INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup cream cheese (4 ounces), at room temperature
- ¼ cup soft butter
- 2 cups icing sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Tip: If you are making a thick round Carrot cake for layering, consider doubling this recipe.
DIRECTIONS
- Blend the cream cheese and butter together using a hand blender or a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
- Add the sifted icing sugar and vanilla. Continue blending until perfectly smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl in between mixing.
- To add to your carrot cake, wait until the cake is completely cooled, then spread the icing evenly over the cake.
