A Tea Latte Recipe That Might Be Our New Favourite
This is the drink that sounds fancier than it is to make - and tastes exactly as good as it sounds. Provisions Salted Caramel Craft Coffee Syrup stirs into a rose chai concentrate for a latte that is floral, warm, and just a little indulgent. If you'd like to enjoy this drink hot instead of iced, steam your dairy before adding.
Ingredients
- Rose chai steeped to a concentrate
- 1 tbsp Provisions Salted Caramel Craft Coffee Syrup
- Dairy of choice
- Ice
How to Make It
- Steep a strong batch of Rose Chai with a bought or homemade rose chai herbal tea blend. Use double the blend you normally would to make a concentrate. Let it cool in the fridge.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour in your dairy of choice.
- Stir Salted Caramel Craft Coffee Syrup directly into the cooled chai concentrate until combined.
- Pour the chai mixture over the milk and ice.
- Stir gently and enjoy.

Why It Works
Rose chai already has layers - floral, spiced, a little unexpected. The Salted Caramel syrup doesn't try to simplify it; it anchors it. The caramel rounds the spice, and the salt lifts the floral notes in a way that feels considered rather than accidental. It is, genuinely, a pairing that will have you go down the rabbit hole of dreaming up other delicious tea-latte combinations.
On the steep: a proper concentrate makes the difference. Steep your chai for minimum of 8–10 minutes with half the water (or double the blend), then let it cool before building your drink. A weak base means a diluted latte once the ice settles - and this one deserves better than that.
Pair It With
Floral and caramel calls for something buttery to balance it. Provisions Sweet Shortbreads are exactly that - and make this feel like an afternoon well spent.
